I've researched many different website designer's and listened to why they charge $2500.00 to $3500.00 dollars for a site before I came across NJ. Outdoors Media. I thought that I'd get the same run around... At least their site's look better than all the rest I had seen, so I gave them a call. All I can say is wow was I wrong! I had a ho hum web site for the past 15 years.  I would be fortunate to get an inquiry 3 or 4 times each year for some obscure item that would never get to a sale.I saw "The Fisherman's" web site when it first went up and I was amazed at the clarity and details of the pictures and the web site in general.  I called Captain Ron who put me in touch with Rod and NJ Outdoors Media.  Within days, our server was switched over and we were hashing out ideas.  Two weeks later we were up and running.After about 4 months we have had some great sales and contacted a lot of new customers. Let me start by saying that i am not the most computer savvy person in the world. I took over ownership of the Chumbucket in July of 07. One of the first things I wanted to do was a web site, unlike the Bass Barn or others. I talked to many people that could and would build me a great site, but none of them did. Finally one builder put together a very unsatisfactory discussion board in May of 08. Then I ran into Rod Houck, he took a look at the board, and told me he could build me a much better site. I thought, yea, right just like the others, all talk. I told him to go ahead, lets see what he could do. The first thing Rod did was create the awesome animated banner ad thats on NJ Saltwater Fisherman. Then he started building the new www.thechum-bucket.com and its pretty amazing. I am not the easiest person to get along with, I have high expectations. Rod started with the discussion forums, proceeded to the photo gallery, and homepage. Then I got this bright idea I wanted a web store. Rod is still working on that, but the store is up and open. I recommend Rod Houck and NJ OUTDOOR MEDIA to anyone needing a site built or dressed up. Rod has busted his butt on this site, and it certainly is appreciated.
